    Ice forms on Lake Michigan. Below the thick ice is the living breathing lake we all love. Mysterious, powerful, majestic, alive. I go out on the ice and lay down on my stomach. In silence I lay flat on the ice and listen closely near the crevices. Hear Lake Michigan breathe.
