Think outside the box (after your flowers have frozen)
Now that we have had a hard frost and the begonias are toasted, the zinnias frozen and the petunias turned to mush, consider dressing up containers and window boxes with fresh greens. Before the soil freezes, you have an opportunity to position evergreen branches and “prunings” from the landscape to create a display that will last through March and next gardening season! Season’s Greenings everyone!
