I shot a lot of video in 2022. This video received the most attention with thousands of views in social media. I made the video on January 16, 2022, and re-edited it today December 25, 2022 for “Year in Review.” Ice forms on Lake Michigan. Below the thick ice is the living breathing lake we all love. Mysterious, powerful, majestic, alive. I go out on the ice and lay down on my stomach. In silence I lay flat on the ice and listen closely near the crevices. Hear Lake Michigan breathe.
