Everyone loves to spend time on the beach in the summer months. The beach where I live is a bustle of energy and celebration in the summer months. A gathering to celebrate a season of warmth and relaxation. Cars park in the lot with license plates from across the country to enjoy the natural resource we call the Great Lakes. When fall arrives the parking lot is generally empty and the beach by the turn of the calendar year is desolate and quiet other than the sound of wind and waves. For those who visited in July and packed away their memories along with their cooler and beach chairs, the beach transforms during the holidays to an enchanted and magical place that is different than summer but certainly beautiful. I call it “Ice-olation.” I give you a glimpse through the lens of my camera in this You Tube video I produced.
